Her Journey

Julia first encountered yoga in 2008 and practiced on & off till 2012.  In 2013, she was not in an optimal mental state. That's when she started to practice yoga regularly because it just felt GOOD to her body and mind.

Her consistent practice helped her gaining a clearer and deeper connection with herself and the world around her. She wanted to share with other people this same clarity and connection.

In 2016, Julia took her first 200hr yoga teacher training and has been sharing her passion and knowledge since then. She was certified to teach prenatal yoga in 2020 and completed her 500hr yoga teacher training in 2021.

Her Mission

Julia’s classes are thoughtfully crafted with a balanced and functional approach to help her clients build strength and stamina, improve mobility and balance, cultivate mindfulness and self-awareness.

She dedicates her time to continuing education in functional anatomy, science of exercise, and other movement modalities (e.g. Pilates). She creates sensible sequences and applies up-to-date techniques in her teaching that are effective and can also help minimize injuries.

Julia loves teaching Yoga. But during her 3rd and 4th years of teaching, there were frequent burnouts after the excitement of being a new yoga teacher went away. She realized her burnouts were often caused by class planning and she was not alone. She decided to shift her focus to helping new yoga teachers to plan less and work smarter.

She offers an Online Video Library with 60 mins classes & short clips about teaching techniques. YACEP Anatomy-Informed Sensible Sequencing course with downloadable class plans is coming this Fall.

She believes every yoga teacher needs a beginners workshop in their back pocket. She is happy to share her manual with you. Simply subscribe below with your email.
